The Walking Dead Zombies Invade Cities Worldwide (Video)

“The Walking Dead”, AMC’s original series based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, premieres on AMC on Halloween, Sunday, October 31 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. To get fans fired up beforehand, AMC and FOX International Networks plan to stage a worldwide zombie invasion stunt.

The 14th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards, presented by Starz, has unveiled its line-up of finalists for this year’s festival, founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu announced today. The programming includes features, documentaries and shorts from around the world.

Pro-Gamers Gather in Largest Major League Video Game Tournament

The Doritos Major League Gaming (MLG) Pro-Gaming Combine, a nationwide amateur gaming competition to find the next generation of Pro-Gamers, is joining forces with MLG’s Pro Circuit to create the largest-ever video game competition series under one roof. The first competition to stage both gaming events will take place in Washington, D.C. on October 15-17 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center and is expected to boast the highest turnout to date with nearly 3,000 professional gaming hopefuls in attendance.

Hollywood also turned out a small contingent of glamorous foot soldiers, trading their makeup and designer clothes for sneakers and baseball caps, displaying solidarity with the masses as they walked to help find a cure for AIDS.
