Tami’s life in entertainment took off when, at 22, she booked a role on MTV’s hit reality show “The Real World”. Over the course of Tami’s career, she has worked as a relief VJ for MTV hosting “Beach MTV,” “MTV Jams,” “Primetime MTV” and “Rude Awakening.” Although, her career really ignited after her divorce in 2001.
Tami has landed series regular roles on over five network pilots, secured recurring roles on “Summerland” “Sex, Love, and Secrets” and CBS’s vampire hit “Moonlight”; made numerous guest-starring appearances on several shows including but not limited to: “Jag”, “One on One”, “Drew Carey”, “Silk Stalkings” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. She has also appeared in several independent films including “MacArthur Park” with Thomas Jefferson Byrd, “Hair Show” with comedienne Mo’Nique, “The Last Stand” and “Something Like A Business” with Kevin Hart. However, proving she is a jack of all trades, Tami has been a weather correspondent for KTLA news, co-host of the revived game show Card Sharks, series cast member on a “view” type talk show pilot with Telepictures, she has owned her own consignment boutique and spear headed an interior decorating firm in partnership with her mother.
