Moviegoers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Tampa and Orlando will be greeted Friday with appearances by director Adam Green and the cast of HATCHET II – including horror icons Danielle Harris (HALLOWEEN), Kane Hodder (FRIDAY THE 13th), Tony Todd (CANDYMAN), R.A. Mihailoff (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE). Fans will get a chance to get a meet and greet the cast and participate in a Q&A following the film.

Eat Pray Love Author Lobbies Congress to End LGBT Discrimination

Best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert, whose book “Eat, Pray, Love” was recently released as a film starring Julia Roberts, today joins the Immigration Equality Action Fund to lobby Congress for passage of The Uniting American Families Act (UAFA), a bill to end discrimination faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans and their children.

Businesses Say Reduce Government Debt By Cutting Public Spending

According to research released today from KPMG International titled Paying the Bill, of the 538 business leaders surveyed from around the world seven out of 10 said that debt should be reduced primarily through cuts in public spending, rising to 77 percent among Europeans. Cutting public spending was also the top choice for the Americas (69 percent) and 54 percent for Asia- Pacific respondents.
