Machete: Box Office Bloodfest

Grindhouse action feature “Machete” starring Danny Trejo took the number one spot Friday at the box office, bringing in an estimated $3.9 million according to Box Office Mojo.  Its total Labor Day Weekend draw, an estimated $14 million, is sure to make it an easy win for Writer/Director Robert Rodriguez, who made “Machete” for an estimated $20 million.

According to a viewer poll at IMDB, 41% of 3,149 voters give “Machete” 10 out of 10 stars.  The average rating is an 8.0.
