Does Stefan Deserve Elena? Family Ties Review

Last week’s episode, “Family Ties,” opened with Damon chasing Elena through her house and ultimately meeting a bloody demise. Of course, it was just a bad dream. But now, it’s not entirely clear whether Damon is right to try to steal Elena from Stefan given that Stefan stole Eleana from Damon first!

The Vampire Diaries” continues to deliver cool moments of horror, like in the chase scene between Damon and Elena, or when Damon finally decides to finish Caroline off and discover’s he’s been poisoned by her blood.

In related news, Jasmine Guy visits Mystic Falls in this week’s upcoming episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” and will hopefully answer pressing questions about Bonnie’s abilities and her Salem Witch heritage.

“Stefan (Paul Wesley) is hopeful that his plan to get rid of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is working. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jenna (Sara Canning) are concerned about Jeremy’s relationship with Vicki. Stefan decides to reveal parts of his past to Elena. At a fund-raising car wash, Bonnie is surprised by abilities she didn’t know she possessed, and seeks advice from her grandmother (Jasmine Guy, “A Different World”). Finally, Elena hears a disturbing story about the Salvatore family from a stranger.”

“The Vampire Diaries” is based on California writer L. J. Smith’s popular young adult book series of the same title. The story focuses on Elena Gilbert, a high school girl torn between two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon Salvatore.
