President Obama Heads to New York City for Letterman, UN Talks

President Obama, finishing his weekend tour of Sunday news shows, now heads to New York City today to tape his appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ and grease the wheels of global diplomacy at the United Nations. Last week, the President announced plans of cutting back on missile defense, a move that left critics free to argue that America would become less safe.

Before arriving in the New York City, President Obama will stop in Upstate New York, where he will give a speech about economic innovation at Hudson Valley Community College. Obama will be introduced by Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, a community college professor.
