Jasmine Guy Joins The Vampire Diaries (Video)

Jasmine Guy (Different World) joins the cast of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ According to the CW website, Guy will play seer Bonnie’s grandmother. Guy’s story arch involves Bonnie unearthing her Salem witch heritage.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ airs on Thursdays at 8pm, and stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder and Steve R. McQueen, grandson of teh actor Steve McQueen. The show is written and produced by Kevin Williamson, and based on the novels of L. J. Smith.

“The Vampire Diaries” was a nighttime ratings hit, reaching 4.9 million viewers. In this week’s episode, ‘Night of the Comet,” look for Damon to bust up Stafan’s game by telling Elena about Stefan’s ex-girlfriend and how he’s still into her. Big bro Damon’s such a hater!
