Project Runway Industry Event Challenge: Ep. 4 Review [Spoilers]

Last week on Lifetime’s ‘Project Runway’, the designers endured their first one day challenge to create an eye-catching look for an industry event.

Carol Hannah Whitfield earned high praise from the judges, who described her garment as sophisticated, beautifully executed and a good mixture of edgy, class and sex appeal. Epperson showed he’s a true craftsman, taking a simple silhouette and giving it a new twist. Althea Harper went above and beyond the call of duty and created a 3-piece suit that blew the judges away. She walked away the winner, and guest judge Jennifer Rade wanted to buy her look.

Unfortunately, not all designers earned high marks. Logan Neitzel’s tacky prom look and Qristyl Frazier’s black cocktail dress, which the judges felt looked cheap, made them candidates for elimination. Qristyl got the ax.
