Project Runway Surf Wear Challenge: Ep. 3 Review [Spoilers]

Project+Runway+Season+6+Ra'mon+Lawrence+00 Contestants headed to the beach on episode 3 of ‘Project Runway,’ meeting up with flip flop wearing Tim Gunn to create a fun and fashionable surf wear look. Contestants were paired in teams, and the drama began.

Team leader Qristyl paired with Epperson, who immediately took over and trashed every idea Qristyl offered. Matters got worse when Gunn told contestants to create an avant-garde piece to match their surf wear design.

Team leader Mitchell ditched the entire competition and left the work for his teammate Ra’mon. Frustrated with his behavior and short on time, Ra’mon created a design that garnered him high marks.

The judges questioned Mitchell about his contribution, and he admitted he did nothing, leaving Ra’mon the winner and Mitchell at the bottom with Qristyl, who showed how easily her opinion could be silenced.

Mitchell achieved a first on the show by becoming the only designer on a winning team be eliminated. Not an honorable achievement.
