DJ AM Died in Oxycontin Suicide

Autopsy reports suggest that DJ AM died from an apparent suicide. The celebrity DJ had swallowed a handful of the painkiller OxyContin, with one undigested pill found in his mouth and eight in his stomach, a report claims. He was found lying on top of a bag of crack cocaine.

Glenn Beck Gets Keys to City of Mt. Vernon: Calls Americans Lazy

Fox News Channel’s number one race-baiter, conservative talk show host and entertainer, Glenn Beck, will receive the key to the City of Mt. Vernon September 26, 2009 in the state of Washington.

Beck gained notoriety in recent weeks after he called President Obama a racist, an oligarch, a Nazi, Hitler–like, and repeatedly charged that the White House supported communists, socialists and Marxists.

Mayor of Mt. Vernon, Bud Norris, said in an interview “I’ve chosen to give him the key to the city and proclaim September 26 Glenn Beck Day.” Responding to complaints by the state’s Young Democrats of Skagit County that Beck was unworthy of the award, Norris said “ In general, I agree with Glenn Beck’s delivery and everything, I enjoy watching him”.

Beck, whose self-proclaimed mission is “to save the republic,” appears to court and pal around with racists, militia, and domestic terrorists through his 9-12 Project and tea party participation. However, he tried to distance himself from these groups by claiming in last Friday’s show that his ‘revolution’ to restore plutocracy or the Bush Administration’s golden years, does not involve “militia groups or guns.” He said: “You know who will save this country? Alcoholics and drug addicts.”

In Tuesday night’s installment of “The Glenn Beck Show,” the controversial entertainer said that Americans who refuse to toil away in agricultural fields sprayed with pesticides for pennies on the dollar are “lazy.” He also said that immigrants working in those same fields do not deserve civil rights or respect from Americans.

However, the number of advertisers pulling spots from his show has also grown. In Tuesday’s episode, the controversial Fox News Channel show featured only 3 advertising spots in the first half hour: “The Amazing Water Jet,” “I Can Only Imagine Platinum” audio CD from Time Life, and 21st Century Insurance. Jewelry Exchange, Children International, Fox comedy series “Brothers,” Egg Genie, Healthcare One, DVD Bible and Hoveround advertised in the second half.
