Bernie Madoff Dying of Cancer

Disgraced former investment banker Bernie Madoff, who is now serving 150 years at a North Carolina federal prison after pleading guilty to swindling more than $65 billion, is reportedly telling fellow inmate that he is dying of cancer.

“He’s been taking about 20 pills a day for his cancer,” an inmate said according to the New York Post. “He talks about it all the time. He’s not doing very well.”

News of his rumored fatal cancer sheds new light on why he took full and exclusive responsibility for the fraudulent ponzi scheme he fathered. He could be taking the fall for an entire family of co-conspirators or accessories to crime.
