George Sodini blogGeorge Sodini, 48, the software developer from Carnegie, PA who opened fire on an aerobics class and murdered three women at a LA Fitness gym in Pittsburgh before killing himself, was a loner and complained that he’d had”no sex since July 1990.”

In journal entries recently found by police investigators, Sodini blamed his parents, siblings and pastor for his troubles with women.

“Told by at least 100 girls/women over the years I was a ‘nice guy.’ Not kidding,” he wrote.

During Sodini’s firing spree, he fired 52 times before shooting himself. “Girls were just ducking behind each other,” survivor Stacy Falk, 26, said. “All I could hear were shots and screams.” At the end of the bloodbath, three women were dead, nine others were injured.

“He walked right into the room where the shootings occurred as if he knew exactly where he was going,” Allegheny County police Superintendent Charles Moffatt said. “I think he went in with the idea of doing what he did.”
