5.0 Earthquake rocks Los Angeles

At 8:39 pm a 5.0 earthquake jolted Los Angeles. The epicenter is reported to be about 1 miles south east of Inglewood, California. Witnesses in West Hollywood poured out into the streets near the Ivy, reporting a strong jolt and shaking, as if a truck has hit one’s house. Witnesses in downtown Los Angeles in Bunker Hill Towers report shaking and the displacement of furniture. Witnesses also report several smaller aftershocks, a 3.1 and 2.5. For more, visit USGS.gov
